第一條  為規劃、推動及整合本校學術研究與發展,加強校務規劃整合及建教合作功能,依據本校組織規程第八條規定設置研究                發展處,以下簡稱本處。

Article 1  The Office of Research and Development (the “Office”) is set up according to Article 8 of University’s Organizational                          Regulations in order to plan, promote, and integrate academic research and  development of the University, and to                            reinforce the University affairs planning, integration, and cooperative  educational features.

 

第二條  本處置研發長一人,綜理本校學術研究發展事項。並得置副研發長一人,協助綜理學術研究發展事項。研發長及副研發                長由校長聘請副教授(含)以上教師兼任,任期依本校組織規程第三十條規定辦理。

Article 2 The Office is configured with one Vice President for Research and Development to take care of academic research and                     development for the University. It may also be configured with one Associate Vice President for Research and                                     Development to help take care of academic research and development. Both the President and the Vice President for                       Research and Development serve concurrently faculty members of the associate professor and a higher ranking                               position hired by the President of the University with tenure required under Article 30 of the University's                                           Organizational Regulations.

 

第三條 本處置秘書一人。下設四組,各組置組長一人,研究人員及職員若干人,由本校總員額內調充。

Article 3 The Office is configured with one executive secretary. Under the Office are four divisions, each with its own head, and                       several research fellows and staff members, who are existing staff of the University.

                二、計畫管考組:規劃及掌理本校建教合作業務事項。

                 2. The Project Administration and Assessment Division plans and handles cooperative education at the University.

                三、校務資料組:辦理校務資訊之蒐集、驗證、統計及分析,提供各項校務資料事項。

                 3. The Institutional Research Division collects, authenticates, tallies, and analyzes the University affairs-related                                        information and provides various University affairs-related information.

                四、學術發展組:推展大型及國際合作研究計畫、提昇研發成果產業化、優秀人才延攬及獎勵事項。

                  4. The Innovative Research and Development Division promotes large and international  collaborative research                                     projects, advances industrialization of the R&D Accomplishments, and recruits and rewards outstanding talent.

 

第四條 本處各組組長由研發長商請校長聘請助理教授(含)以上教師或職級 相當人員兼任,或由職員擔任之,任期依本                           校組織規程第三十條規定 辦理。

Article 4 The Heads of the respective divisions under the Office are served concurrently by faculty members of the assistant                           professor or an equivalent position hired by the President of the University as advised by the President for Research                       and Development or staff with a tenure required under Article 30 of the University's Organizational Regulations.

 

第五條 本處另設儀器設備中心,以整合及規劃共用儀器設備之使用、維修及 製作,並接受委託檢測、培訓及相關技術服                            務與研究等。其設置辦法 經研究發展會議通過後實施,修正時亦同。

Article 5 There is also the Instrument Development Center under the Office to integrate and plan the use, maintenance, and                             production of shared instruments and equipment, which undertakes authorized testing, training, and related                                     technical  services and research, among others. The Establishment Regulations shall be enforced after approval                                 through the R&D meeting. The same shall apply to their revisions.

 

 

第六條 儀器設備中心置主任一人,由研發長商請校長聘請副教授(含)以上 教師或職級相當人員兼任,或由職員擔任之,任期               依本校組織規程第 三十條規定辦理。

Article 6 The Instrument Development Center is configured with one director that is served concurrently by a faculty member                       of the associate professor level or an equivalent position hired by the President of the University as advised by the                           President for Research and Development or staff with a tenure required under Article 30 of the University's                                       Organizational Regulations.

 

第七條 本處每學期至少召開一次研究發展會議。

Article 7 The Office holds an R&D meeting at least once every semester.

 

第八條 本辦法經校務會議通過後實施,修正時亦同。

Article 8 These Regulations are to be enforced following approval through the University Council. The same shall apply to                               their revisions.
