115年3月23日系務會議修訂

一、為提升本系外國學生水平，特依「國立成功大學外國學生獎學金實施要點」訂定本辦法。

二、博士班續領規定中包含以下敘述：「修得各系所規定畢業課程總學分數三分之一以上」。

三、本系博士班畢業學分為25分學分，含專題討論4學分、核心課程9學分、選修12學分。

四、本系之資格認定：「累積至第1年需修習畢業課程總學分數三分之一以上(9學分)，累積至第2年需修習畢業課程總學分數三分之二以上(17 學分)，且需修畢至少一門核心課程(該核心課程需達班級前70%)，累積至第3年需修習畢業課程總學分數三分之三以上(25學分)，且需修畢三門核心課程，並通過博士班資格考。」

1.        To improve the academic level of international students in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (hereinafter "MSE"), this regulation is formulated in accordance with the "National Cheng Kung University Implementation Guidelines for International Student Scholarships".

2.        The eligibility criteria for renewal for PhD students include the following statement: "completion of at least one-third of their mandatory degree coursework."

3.        The graduation credits for the doctoral program in MSE are 25 credits, including 4 credits for seminars, 9 credits for core courses, and 12 credits for electives.

4.        The eligibility criteria for MSE are as follows: "In the first year, students must have completed at least one-third of their mandatory degree coursework (9 credits); in the second year, students must have completed at least two-thirds of their mandatory degree coursework (17 credits), and must have completed at least one core course (which must be ranked in the top 70% of the class); in the third year, students must have completed at least three-thirds of their mandatory degree coursework (25 credits), and must have completed three core courses and passed the doctoral program qualifying exam."
