第一條 為鼓勵優秀大學畢業生就讀本系及本系研究生專心從事學術研究,並協助本系推動相關之教學研究與行政工作,特依據本校研究生獎、助學金實施辦法訂定「國立成功大學生物科技與產業科學系研究生獎、助學金實施辦法」(以下簡稱本辦法)。

Article1 To encourage outstanding undergraduate students to pursue their graduate studies in our department, the Regulations for Graduate Student Scholarships and Stipends of the Department of Biotechnology and Bioindustry Sciences, National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter referred to as "Regulations") are established according to the NCKU Graduate Student Scholarship and Stipend Regulations. Scholarship recipients are required to participate in teaching and administration duties.

第二條 各類獎助學金之給付金額、名額及支領月數則依各年度經費,由系務會議決議依本辦法之原則彈性調整之。

Article2 Specific amounts for scholarships and financial aid shall be determined at the Department Affairs Committee Meeting based on the annual budget in accordance with these Regulations.

第三條 為鼓勵本系學生逕修讀博士班,額外核予獎勵金。

Article3 Additional financial aid shall be granted to students of our department to apply for direct admission into doctorate programs.

第四條 獎、助學金申請人須符合下列規定:

一、以在本系註冊在學(含復學生)之一般研究生為限。

二、研究生在校外兼職兼薪者,不得申請本獎學金

三、研究生同一時間內領有獎、助學金及研究補助以二項為限。

Article4 Scholarship and financial aid applicants must meet the following requirements:

I. Graduate students who are registered in the department (including any student who completes the resumption procedure).

II. Graduate students who work for part-time jobs outside of NCKU are not eligible for scholarship application

III. Graduate students who receive scholarships, financial aid, and research grants from different resources concurrently shall be allowed to accept two of them.

第五條 審核方法:

一、碩一新生以入學考試及甄試成績做為審查標準。

二、博一新生以直升甄試及入學成績作為審查標準。

三、其他各學期以學業成績、學術研究、綜合評量(參與研究、進度報告、發表論文、參加研討會、校外競賽表現、服務學習、協助本系公共事務等綜合表現)評審之。

Article5 Guidelines for reviewing scholarship applications:

I. Scholarships awarded to master’s students are reviewed according to the applicants’ grades for admission by recommendation, screening program or entrance examination.

II. Scholarships awarded to PhD students are reviewed according to applicants’ grades for admission by recommendation, screening program or entrance examination.

III. All candidates shall be reviewed every semester according to their academic performance, research potential, and other comprehensive evaluation criteria (including performance in research activity engagement, progress reports, thesis/dissertation publication, conference participation, awards obtained, and public service).

第六條 本辦法經系務會議通過後公告並實施,修正時亦同。

Article6 These Regulations have been announced and implemented with approval at the Department Affairs Committee Meeting. The same process shall be applied to all subsequent amendments.
