國立成功大學生物科技與產業科學系 學生校外實習委員會設置要點 Department of Biotechnology and Bioindustry Sciences, National Cheng Kung University Establishment Guidelines of Student Off-Campus Internship Committee |

一、國立成功大學生物科技與產業科學系(以下簡稱本系)為使學生結合課程專業理論與產業 實務經驗,增進實用能力,特與合作機構辦理學生校外實習。茲依據「國立成功大學學 生校外實習委員會設置要點」訂定本要點。 I. For the purpose of allowing students to combine in-course theory with practical industry experiences to improve their practical skills, the Department of Biotechnology and Bioindustry Sciences, National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") organizes off-campus student internships in collaboration with partner institutions and has established these Guidelines in accordance with the NCKU Establishment Guidelines of the Student Off-Campus Internship Committee.
II. The student off-campus internships of the Department are professional off-campus internships or industry-academia partnership off-campus internships that have been established by the Department based on the educational objectives and course features of the Department as well as the need for industry-academia collaboration.
III. The Student Off-Campus Internship Committee shall consist of the Department Chair, discipline cluster conveners, the convener of the Curriculum Committee (a different person shall be assigned for the position by said committee if the same member holds a position concurrently in both committees), the convener of the Student Affairs Committee (a different person shall be assigned for the position by said committee if the same member holds a position concurrently in both committees), a professional representative from the industry, and an undergraduate student representative. The Department Chair shall act as the convener of the Committee. The student representative shall hold a one-year term in the Committee, whereas the rest of the members shall hold a two-year term in the Committee and are eligible for term renewal upon reelection.
IV. Committee Membership is an unpaid position; however, if a representative of the institution providing the internship must be invited to attend a meeting, reimbursement of commuting fees shall be provided to the representative in accordance with the relevant rules.
五、本委員會以每學年召開會議一次為原則,必要時得召開臨時會議,並得邀請相關單位或 人員列席報告或說明。 V. The Committee shall convene one meeting per academic year and may convene ad hoc meetings if necessary. Relevant units or personnel may be invited to attend the meetings for reporting or briefing.
VI. Meetings of the Committee must be held with the attendance of at least one-half of its members; resolutions must have the approval of at least one-half of the attending members. 七、本委員會之任務,包含專業校外實習或產學合作校外實習之規劃、合作機構之選定、訂 定實習合作契約書、訂定合作計畫、學生實習單位分發、學生實習期滿前終止實習後之 轉介、評估學生校外實習成效、學生校外實習權益申訴案件協商及其他有關權益保障等 事宜。 VII. The missions of the Committee consist of planning professional off-campus internships and industry-academia partnership off-campus internships, selecting partner institutions, formulating internship partnership agreements and partnership projects, allocating students to institutions providing internships, offering referrals after internships both before the end and after the termination of internship periods, evaluating the effectiveness of off-campus internships, negotiating grievances when complaints arise during student off-campus internships, and protecting any other rights and benefits of the students.
VIII. A student of the Department may file a complaint to the Committee if he/she thinks that his/her rights have been damaged at any point in the duration of the professional off-campus internship or industry-academia partnership off-campus internship as a result of the management measures or the handling procedures of the institution providing the internship regarding the contents of the internship. The Committee shall invite the institution providing the internship, the student intern, and other relevant departments to meet and negotiate for a solution and subsequently send the negotiated solution to the NCKU Off-Campus Internship Committee for acknowledgment. 九、本設置要點經系務會議通過並送本校學生校外實習委員會備查後施行,修正時亦同。 IX. These Establishment Guidelines were implemented with the approval of the Department Meeting and upon submission to the Student Off-Campus Internship Committee for acknowledgment. The same shall apply to all subsequent amendments.
