一、國立成功大學（下稱本校）基於有教無類、誨人不倦之精神，對於觸犯校規之學生特給予改過向善之機會，並鼓勵其為校園服務，以建立其正確之價值觀與良好行為習慣，並進而提昇校園服務風氣，依據本校學生獎懲要點第二十點規定，訂定本分則。

Based on the principles of educational equality and tireless teaching, these Rules are established by National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in accordance with Rule XX of National Cheng Kung University Directions for Student Rewards and Penalties to regulate the commutation of penalties to campus community services for students who have violated school regulations, providing them with opportunities to change for the better and engage in campus community services to establish their correct values and good habits amid the promotion of the campus climate for community services.

二、學生觸犯校規之行為，依學生獎懲要點合予記小過以下之處分者，得視犯過學生之情節輕重與輔導之成效，施以校園服務代替懲處。

A student who is disciplined with a penalty lighter or no more than a minor demerit in accordance with National Cheng Kung University Directions for Student Rewards and Penalties may be allowed to have the penalty commuted into a campus community service.

三、學生合予記申誡或記小過處分之行為，願改以校園服務代替者，計算時數如下：

The number of hours of campus community service should be calculated as follows:

（一）申誡一次：校園服務十小時。

One reprimand: 10 hours of campus community service

（二）申誡二次：校園服務二十小時。

Two reprimands: 20 hours of campus community service

（三）記小過一次：校園服務三十小時。

One minor demerit: 30 hours of campus community service

（四）記小過二次：校園服務六十小時。

Two minor demerits: 60 hours of campus community service

四、以校園服務代替懲處後，其行為不予列入紀錄，操行成績亦不予減分，期以勉勵其改過自新、服務向上之情操。

To encourage disciplined students to behave well and serve the public, a penalty commuted to a campus community service will neither be recorded nor result in reduction in the grade of conduct.

五、受懲學生應於收受懲處通知之次日起30日內，備妥申請表，向學生事務處生活輔導組提出校園服務代替懲處之申請。

Disciplined students should submit a completed application form to the Student Assistance Division under the Office of Student Affairs for the commutation of a penalty to a campus community service within 30 days upon receipt of the notice of penalty.

六、學生事務處生活輔導組受理後，得先知會原提案者，再經導師、系所主管同意，送請學生事務長核定後執行。受懲學生無故不依指定時間、地點服務完成者，經導師、系所主管同意，送請學生事務長核定後，原處分仍予維持，受懲學生不得再依本分則提出申請。

Upon receiving an application for the commutation of a punishment to a campus community service, the Student Assistance Division under the Office of Student Affairs shall notify the applicant of its administration of the commutation, which shall be approved by the advisor and department chair/institute director. The commutation will be administered upon approval by the Vice President for Student Affairs. Should disciplined students fail to complete their campus service at the designated place as scheduled, they will be disciplined with the original penalty upon approval by the advisor, department chair/institute director, and the Vice President for Student Affairs. Under such circumstances, disciplined students are no longer eligible to apply for commutation of penalties to campus community services in accordance with these Rules.

七、本分則經學生事務會議通過後實施，修正時亦同。

These Rules shall be approved by the Student Affairs Council before taking effect. Amendments shall be processed accordingly.
