優秀學生獎學金發放要點（112學年度前入學適用）

Directions for Awarding of Outstanding Student Scholarship

(Enrollment in or before Academic Year 2023)

一、國立成功大學敏求智慧運算學院（以下簡稱本院）為鼓勵本國優秀學生就讀本院，特設優秀學生獎學金（以下簡稱獎學金），並訂定本要點。

1. NCKU Miin Wu School of Computing (hereinafter referred to as the "School") specifically establishes the Outstanding Student Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the "Scholarship) and these Directions in order to encourage domestic outstanding students to attend the School.

二、本獎學金經費來源為本院捐贈款。

2. The funding of the Scholarship is from donations received by the School.

三、本要點適用對象：就讀本院主理之學位學程之本國研究所學生及大四預備研究生。

3. Target audience: These Directions apply to the students of domestic institutes of degree programs established by the School, as well as the senior students who will be enrolled as postgraduate students.

四、由本院核發之各項獎學金（含劉炯朗院士獎學金），碩士生每人每月最高領取新臺幣（以下同）4萬元整；博士生每人每月最高領取7萬元整。

4. For various scholarships (including Academician Chung-Laung Liu's Scholarship Program) approved and awarded by the School, each eligible postgraduate student will be awarded up to NT$ (same as below) 40,000 per month; each eligible doctoral student will be awarded up to NT$ 70,000 per month.

五、獎學金金額與名額：

（一）碩士生

1. 優秀正取生（扣除優先錄取生後之甄試榜單前2名或招考第1名）：每人每月2萬元整

正取生：每人每月1萬元整

備取生：每人每月6千元整（擇優錄取，每位指導教授得推薦1位學生）

2. 若學生前一學歷為台、成、清、交，並畢業於與本院相關領域之系 所，且系（所）排名成績前20%，每人每月最高2萬元整。

3. 若學生大學時修畢本院智慧運算學分學程，獎學金每人每月5千元 整。

4. 補助出國研究費用

上述第 2 點及第 3 點擇一領取。

（二）博士生

1. 優秀正取生（甄試榜單前2名或招考第1名）：每人每月4萬元整

正取生：每人每月2萬元整（擇優錄取，每位指導教授得推薦1位學生）

2. 若學生前一學歷具備特殊學術表現，每人每月最高 2 萬元整。

3. 補助出國研究費用

（三）預備研究生

大四：每人每月1萬元整；碩士第一年：每人每月2萬元整

預備研究生若未於碩士第一年註冊本院主理之學位學程，則喪失領取 資格。本院得經院務會議審議追償大四期間已領取之獎學金總額。

5. Scholarship Amount and Seats:

(1) Postgraduate student

A. Outstanding student officially enrolled (the top two students in the admission list or the first place in the entrance examination, excluding students with priority of admission): NT$ 20,000/person/month

B. Officially enrolled student: NT$ 10,000 /person/month

C. Candidate on the waiting list for admission: NT$ 6,000 /person/month (merit-based enrollment; each advisor can recommend one student)

D. For each eligible student who graduated or will graduate from a relevant department or institute of NTU, NCKU, NTHU, or NYCU, and majored or majors in a discipline related to the School and whose academic record is the top 20% in his/her department/institute, the maximum monthly amount will be NT$ 20,000.

E. For each eligible student who has completed the School's credit program of intelligent computing at college/university, the monthly scholarship amount will be NT$ 5,000.

F. Student aid of going abroad for research

Payment will be made as per Subparagraph 2 or 3 above.

(2) Doctoral student

A. Outstanding student officially enrolled (the top two students in the admission list or the first place in the entrance examination: NT$ 40,000/person/month

B. Officially enrolled student: NT$ 20,000 /person/month (merit-based enrollment; each advisor can recommend one student)

C. For each eligible student who has had special academic performance during the previous education period, the maximum monthly amount will be NT$ 20,000.

D. Student aid of going abroad for research

(3) Senior student to be enrolled as postgraduate student

Senior year: NT$ 10,000/person/month; 1st year of postgraduate study: NT$ 20,000/person/month

六、審查程序：

（一）碩士生

1. 優秀正取生：符合資格者即可領取。

正取生：符合資格者即可領取。

備取生：擇優錄取，每位指導教授得推薦 1 位學生，送學位學程會 議審核。

2. 若學生前一學歷為台、成、清、交，並畢業於與本院相關領域之系 所，且系（所）排名成績前20%：送學位學程會議審核發放金額。

3. 若學生大學時修畢本院智慧運算學分學程：符合資格者即可領取。

4. 補助出國研究費用：經指導教授及學位學程主任同意後，送院務會 議審核。

（二）博士生

1. 優秀正取生：符合資格者即可領取。

正取生：擇優錄取，每位指導教授得推薦1位學生，送學位學程會 議審核。

2. 若學生前一學歷具備特殊學術表現：送學位學程會議審核發放金額。

3. 補助出國研究費用：經指導教授及學位學程主任同意後，送院務會議審核。

（三）預備研究生：符合資格者即可領取。

6. Review Procedure:

(1) Postgraduate student

A. Outstanding student officially enrolled: Those eligible can be awarded scholarships.

Officially enrolled student: Those eligible can be awarded scholarships.

Candidate on the waiting list for admission: Merit-based enrollment; each advisor can recommend and report one student to the Degree Program Council for review.

B. For each eligible student who graduated or will graduate from a relevant department or institute of NTU, NCKU, NTHU, or NYCU, and majored or majors in a discipline related to the School and whose academic record is the top 20% in his/her department/institute, the award amount will be reported to the Degree Program Council for review.

D. Student aid of going abroad for research: Upon approval by the advisor and the degree program director, such student aid will be reported to the College Council for review.

(2) Doctoral student

A. Outstanding student officially enrolled: Those eligible can be awarded scholarships.

Officially enrolled student: Merit-based enrollment; each advisor can recommend and report one student to the Degree Program Council for review.

B. For each eligible student who has had special academic performance during the previous education period, the award amount will be reported to the Degree Program Council for review.

C. Student aid of going abroad for research: Upon approval by the advisor and the degree program director, such student aid will be reported to the College Council for review.

(3) Senior student to be enrolled as postgraduate student: Those eligible can be awarded scholarships.

七、本獎學核發期間為審核通過後之次學年度，按月核給。

第二學年起得申請續領，學生填妥申請表格於每年7月10日前提交至院辦公室，經學位學程會議審議核定。每學期須完成註冊後，始得領取本獎學金。第一學期獎學金於入學後發給。學生如保留入學、放棄入學資格、辦理休學或轉出者，該學期獎學金予以停發。

7. The period for approving and awarding this scholarship shall be the next academic year after it is reviewed and approved. This scholarship is subject to monthly verification and payment.

An application for renewal may be filed from the second academic year. Any eligible student shall properly complete and submit his/her application form to the School Office prior to July 10 every year. The application form will be reviewed and approved by the Degree Program Council. The student can be awarded this scholarship only after completing the enrollment formalities every semester. The scholarship for the first semester will be paid after the student has enrolled. If the student retains or waives his/her student status, applies for a suspension of schooling or transfer, the scholarship for the corresponding semester will be suspended.

八、本要點經本院院務會議通過後實施，修正時亦同。
