第一條    為審核及發放各界在本校設置或捐贈各類獎學金有關事宜,訂定「國立成功大學獎學金審查辦法(以下簡稱本辦法)」。

Article 1. The National Cheng Kung University Regulations on Review of Scholarship Applications (hereinafter referred to as “the Regulations”) were promulgated to facilitate review of scholarship applications at the National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter referred to as “the University”) established by all entities and their issuance.

 

第二條        本校為辦理獎學金之審查事宜,設「獎學金審查委員會」(以下簡稱本會),由教務長、學生事務長、總務長、國際事務長及各學院院長為委員,並由學生事務長為召集人,學生事務處生活輔導組組長為執行秘書。本會開會時,應有委員二分之一以上出席,出席委員二分之一以上同意,方得議決。

Article 2. To manage review of scholarship applications, the University established the Scholarship Review Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Committee”). The Committee comprises the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Vice president for Finance, the Vice President for International Affairs, and deans of all colleges. The Vice President for Academic Affairs is the meeting convener, and the Director of the Student Assistance Office under the Office of Student Affairs (hereinafter referred to as “the Division”) serves as the executive secretary. A meeting can only be held when at least half of the members are present. A decision can only be made with the approval of at least half of the present Committee members.

 

第三條        本校獎學金之審查,除各院、系、所、學位學程或各單位另有獎學金審查規定外,由學生事務處生活輔導組(以下簡稱本組)彙集造冊,並依下列規定送交各單位辦理:

一、屬全校性之獎項,由本會核定。

二、屬各學院、系、所、學位學程之獎項,由各學院、系、所、學位學程核定,並將核定結果送回本組。

前項如因特殊原因或情形急迫,致無法召開會議時,得由學生事務處依各獎學金之申請條件或資格,辦理推薦事宜。

Article 3. The results of University scholarship applications, unless stated otherwise by colleges, departments, graduate institutes, degree programs, and each unit, shall be compiled by the Division and submitted to corresponding units for subsequent processing according to the following criteria:

1.Schoolwide award applications are assessed by the Committee.

2.Applications for awards granted by colleges, departments, graduate institutes, and degree programs are evaluated by corresponding colleges, departments, graduate institutes, and degree program units, respectively. The results shall be submitted to the Division.

In the event that a review meeting cannot be held due to special circumstances or an emergency, the Office for Student Affairs may recommend candidates according to the eligibility of the scholarship in question.

 

第四條        獎學金審查標準,如下列規定:

一、各項獎學金有特定條件規定者,均按其條件辦理。

二、凡無特定條件規定者,學業成績七十五分以上及操行成績八十分以上,並依下列之優先順序,予以審定:

(一)父母雙亡或父母均無職業、生活無依者。(繳全戶戶籍謄本)

(二)政府登記有案之社會救助戶(如低、中低收入戶)、經政府機關核准需協助救助(如特殊境遇家庭之子女或其他類似情形者)及出具證明者。

(三)家長收入少,在學子女眾多者。(繳綜合所得稅各類所得資料清單或財產歸屬資料清單)

(四)家境清寒學生。(繳全戶戶籍謄本及其他可資證明之文件並由導師推薦之)

三、每位學生每學期限領取一項獎學金為原則,但經獎學金提供單位同意或無規定者,不在此限。

四、依本條第二款情形審定後,如尚有獎學金名額,依申請者學業成績之高低順序,予以審定。

Article 4. Evaluation criteria for scholarship applications are as follows:

1.Applications are processed according to specific requirements and regulations outlined in the scholarship application procedure in question (if any).

2.For scholarships without any specific requirements and regulations, applicants must obtain an average academic score of 75 or higher and a conduct grade of 80 or higher. Applicants receive priority as follows:

(1)applicants with both parents deceased or unemployed and no financial support (household registration transcript of entire household required) receive top priority, followed by

(2)applicants from families registered as social assistance households (e.g., middle-income or low-income families) or those with assistance requirements recognized by a governmental agency (e.g., children of families in hardship) who have provided supporting documents,

(3)applicants whose parents have low incomes and who have several siblings still in schools (a list of individual income tax and data on various incomes or that of property ownership is required), and

(4)applicants from families in straitened circumstances (a household registration transcript of entire household, a recommendation letter written by their advisors, and other supporting documents shall be attached).

3.  Each recipient shall receive no more than one scholarship in principle. However, recipients are not subject to this restriction when their scholarship issuance units allow receipt of multiple scholarships or stipulate no such restrictions.

4.  After assessment is conducted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Article 4, the remaining scholarships, if any, are granted according to applicants’academic scores.

 

第五條        本辦法經行政會議通過後實施,修正時亦同。

Article 5.    The Regulations and subsequent amendments come into effect upon approval of the Administrative Meeting.
