國立成功大學敏求智慧運算學院專任教師續聘要點

一、 國立成功大學敏求智慧運算學院(以下簡稱本院)為有效評核專任教師教學、研究與服務之發展,且評量專任教師續聘事宜,遂訂定本院專任教師續聘要點(以下簡稱本要點)。
Article 1. In order to effectively evaluate the development of teaching, research and service about the matters of faculty renewal, Miin Wu School of Computing (hereinafter SOC) established the Regulation for SOC Full-time Faculty Renewal (hereinafter the Regulation).
二、 本院約聘教師應於聘期結束前六個月,檢具下列資料提交至本院教師評審委員會,必要時由教評會邀請約聘教師進行說明,由教評會進行評量,本會得遴聘院外委員參與審議。
(一) 送審表
(二) 參與研究、服務與教學之量能影響及貢獻
(三) 未來研究、服務與教學規劃說明
(四) 著作目錄表
(五) 代表作之貢獻說明書,若有合著者時,需由合著作者簽名填寫貢獻項目及比率。
(六) 專任教師聘期中執行之研究計畫表(含題目、經費、支持單位、執行期限以及計畫摘要)
(七) 指導研究生論文情形表
(八) 服務與輔導情形表
(九) 教學情形表
(十) 其他有助於審查之文件
評量應考量下列三大方向,由申請人自選評量方向、次序與比例:
(一)研究:以本院研究中心與發展方向為主。
(二)服務:以本院、研究中心、產學聯盟、國際合作以及指導學生為主。
(三)教學
Article 2. SOC Faculty with the following materials shall apply to the SOC Faculty Evaluation Committee six months before the end of appointment for evaluation of renewal. The SOC Faculty Evaluation Committee will conduct assessment and may recruit members from outside the SOC to participate in the deliberation. If necessary, the SOC Faculty Evaluation Committee will invite the applicants to give a presentation.
1. SOC Faculty Renewal Application Form.
2. Faculty Capacity Impact to the research, teaching and service.
3. Future research, teaching and service plan for the next appointment.
4. Faculty Publications Report Form. All works shall be listed by categories of referred journals, conference papers, books or book chapters, granted patents in order of publication (please specify publication year and month).
5. Representative Contribution Description Form, with certificate of coauthorship of endorsed by the co-authors.
6. A List of Conducted Research Projects Granted by the Applicant in appointment period with information of title, grant source, budget, execution period and abstract.
7. SOC Teaching Performance Evaluation Form.
8. SOC Advising Graduate Student Report Form.
9. Service and Student Counseling Evaluation Form.
10. Other supplemental documents.
The reviewing shall consider the following three directions (order and ratio as submitted by the applicant)
1. Research: in line with the research center and development direction of SOC.
2. Services to the SOC, Research Centers, Industrial Liaison Programs, international cooperation and advising students.
3. Teaching
三、 本院約聘教師未通過評量者,本院於聘約期滿後,不再續聘。
Article 3. For faculty who fail to pass the evaluation, SOC will not renew the appointment after the contract period expires.
四、 教師於連續兩次以上通過續聘審查且總共聘期達六年(含)以上後,即具備長聘資格,過後均不須再提續聘審查。具備長聘之教師,於聘任期間得依其績效彈性調整薪酬及相關約聘條件。若前開教師有依本校相關規定之不適任情事,本院教師評審委員會得召開臨時會議審議長聘資格。
Article 4. After the faculty have passed the renewal review more than twice in a row and the total appointment period is more than six years, the faculty shall be qualified for tenure appointment, and there is no need to submit for renewal review. The Faculty who have tenure appointment could adjust their salary and relevant contract conditions flexibly during the appointment period according to their performance. If a teacher qualified for tenure appointment is found unfit under the relevant regulations of NCKU, SOC Faculty Evaluation Committee may convene an interim meeting to review the tenure appointment.
五、 本要點經院教師評審委員會通過後實施,修正時亦同。
Article 5. The present Regulations shall take effect after being approved by the Miin Wu School of Computing Faculty Evaluation Committee. The same procedure shall apply upon regulation amendment.
