約聘教師評審委員會設置要點

Directions for Establishing the Contract Faculty Members Evaluation Committee

 


一、國立成功大學敏求智慧運算學院(以下簡稱本院)為辦理教師評審事項,依國立成功大學敏求智慧運算學院設置辦法及國立成功大學各學院教師評審委員會設置辦法,設置本院約聘教師評審委員會(以下簡稱本會),並訂定本要點。
1. NCKU Miin Wu School of Computing (hereinafter referred to as the "School") establishes the Contract Faculty Members Evaluation Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Committee") of the School and these Directions in accordance with the Regulations for Establishment of NCKU Miin Wu School of Computing and the regulations for establishment of the faculty evaluation committees of NCKU's colleges, in order to handle the matters related to faculty member evaluations.


二、本會審議下列事項:
(一)本院專任教師之聘任、聘期、升等、解聘、停聘、不續聘、資遣原因之認定等事項。
(二)本院兼任教師之聘任、聘期、解聘、停聘等事項。
(三)其他有關教師評審或依法令規定需由本會審議之事項。
2. The Committee reviews the following matters:
(1) Any matters concerning determination of the reasons for the employment, term of employment, promotion, termination of employment, suspension, discontinuation of employment and dismissal of the School's full-time faculty members;
(2) Any matters concerning the employment, term of employment, termination of employment, suspension and the like of the School's part-time faculty members; and
(3) Other matters that are related to faculty members evaluation or require review by the Committee according to laws and regulations.


三、本會置委員 7至 9人,由下列人員組成:
(一)當然委員:本院院長(兼召集人)及副院長。召集人因故無法主持或遇有迴避情形時,其代理主席之產生,由院教評會委員共推之。
(二)推選委員:推選委員人數不得少於當然委員,由院長推薦或由各學位學程會議通過推薦,經本院專任教授推選之。必要時得自校內他院或校外選聘專長相近之教授擔任之。

已同時擔任系、校級教評會委員者,不得再擔任之。
各單位至少須有一名委員,委員任期二年,每年改選二分之一,連選得連任。教師奉准借調、休假研究、帶職帶薪或留職停薪進修研究,不得擔任本會委員。本會推選委員在任期中出缺,由候補委員遞補後不足時,另行推選委員遞補,其任期以補足所遺任期為限。
3. The Committee consists of 7 to 9 members including the following persons:
(1) Ex officio members: The dean (and convenor) of the School and the associate dean. If the convenor is prevented from acting as chairman for any reason or recusal is required, a proxy shall be recommended by all members of the College Faculty Evaluation Committee as chairman.
(2) Elected members: The number of elected members shall not be less than that of ex officio members. The elected members shall be recommended by the dean, or recommendation of elected members shall be approved by various degree program councils. They shall be recommended and elected by the full-time professors of the School. If necessary, the professors specialized in the similar areas from NCKU's other colleges or outside NCKU shall be elected as such members.
Any department-level or university-level Faculty Evaluation Committee member cannot act as a member of the Committee.
Each unit must have at least one (1) member who shall serve a two-year term. One half of such members shall leave office, or may be reappointed after the reelection. Any faculty member who is approved to be transferred, or on sabbatical leave, or paid leave, or leave without pay for advanced study shall not act as a member of the Committee. If a member or members elected by the Committee are absent during the term of office and the number of members becomes insufficient after such member or members are replaced by an alternate member or alternate members, more member or members shall be elected separately. The term of office of such member or members elected separately shall be equivalent to the remaining term of the former member or members.


四、本會每學期至少開會一次。
4. The Committee shall hold at least one meeting every semester.


五、本院教師之聘任,悉依本院進用約聘教師實施要點辦理。本院教師之升等,悉依本院約聘教師升等初審要點辦理。
5. Employment of the School's faculty members is subject to the School's Directions for Appointment of Contract Faculty Members. Promotion of the School's faculty members is subject to the School's Directions concerning Initial Review for Promotion of Contract Faculty Members.


六、本會應有全體委員三分之二以上出席,始得開議,出席委員三分之二以上同意,始得決議。本會得由召集人邀請其他有關單位或人員列席會議。

6. The Committee meeting can be convened only when two-thirds or more members are present; a resolution made at the meeting may be adopted only upon approval of two-thirds or more members present.
The convenor may invite other relevant units or personnel to attend the Committee meeting.


七、本要點如有未盡事宜,悉依相關法令規定辦理。
7. All matters not covered in these Directions shall be handled in accordance with relevant laws.


八、本要點經本院院長同意,送本校教師評審委員會核備後實施,並送本院院務發展與管理委員會備查,修正時亦同。
8. These Directions are to be enforced following approval by the dean of the School and approval for reference by the Faculty Evaluation Committee of NCKU, and are to be submitted to the College Affair Development and Management Committee of the School for reference. The same shall apply to their revisions.
