第一條  國立成功大學(以下簡稱本校)為辦理企業關係、智慧財產權、技術移轉及產學合作業務,依據本校組織規程第十條及產學創新總中心設置辦法第四條規定,設立「國立成功大學企業關係與技轉中心」(以下簡稱本中心),並訂定本辦法。

Article 1     The National Cheng Kung University Regulations Governing the Establishment of the Center for Corporate Relations and Technology Transfer (hereinafter “the Regulations”) were established by National Cheng Kung University (“NCKU”) in accordance with Article 10 of the Organizational Regulations of National Cheng Kung University and Article 4 of the National Cheng Kung University Regulations Governing the Establishment of the Innovation Headquarters to manage matters related to corporate relations, intellectual property, technology transfer, and industry–academy collaboration.

第二條     本中心任務如下:

一、  強化本校與企業間鏈結關係,促進產學機構技術人才與國際接軌等事項。

二、  推動大學研發成果商業化及國際化。

三、 辦理本校智慧財產權之申請、管理、收益、技術移轉、使用授權與信託及其他相關事項。

Article 2     Duties of the Center for Corporate Relations and Technology Transfer (hereinafter “the Center”) are as follows:

1.Strengthen the connection between NCKU and enterprises and foster industry–academy institution technicians that meet international standards.

2. Promote the commercialization and internationalization of NCKU’s research and development results.

3. Manage applications, management, revenue, technology transfer, user authorization, entrustment, and other relevant matters concerning NCKU’s intellectual property rights. 

第三條     本中心置主任一人,綜理本中心各項業務。本中心主任由校長聘請副教授以上教師或同級以上之研究人員或專業技術人員兼任。

Article 3 The Center is arranged such that one director supervises its overall operations. The NCKU President shall appoint a faculty member who holds the position of associate professor or higher, a researcher of an equivalent or higher level, or a professional technician to serve as Center Director.

第四條     本中心得視業務需要及經費狀況,聘請所需工作人員若干人,依校內各類人員進用規定聘任之,並以自籌經費進用為原則。

Article 4  The Center may hire several staff members according to business operation needs and budgeting. The recruitment of staff members must be conducted in compliance with NCKU regulations on the hiring of staff and with self-raised funds, unless otherwise specified.

第五條     本中心業務經費由各機關(構)、單位、法人或自然人,包含經濟部、科技部、農業委員會等發明專利之補助與獎勵、技術移轉獎勵、傑出技術移轉貢獻獎、績優技術移轉中心之獎助、研發成果推廣活動經費及相關產學合作經費等支應,依本校研究發展成果管理辦法及各該機關(構)單位相關法令規定辦理。

Article 5  The operation expenses of the Center are supported by various agencies or institutions, units, legal or natural persons (e.g., Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Science and Technology, and Council of Agriculture), which offer subsidies and awards for invention patents, technology transfer awards, the Award for Excellent Contributions in Technology Transfer, awards for outstanding technology transfers, funds for promotional activities presenting research and development results, and industry–academy cooperation funds. Relevant matters shall be managed in accordance with the National Cheng Kung University Regulations Governing the Management of Research and Development Accomplishments and relevant regulations of any agency/institution/unit concerned.

第六條  本中心作業及管理相關規定,由本中心另定之。

Article 6  Provisions for Center operations and management shall otherwise be specified by the Center.

第七條     本辦法經校務會議通過後施行,修正時亦同。

Article 7   The Regulations shall be enforced upon approval by the University Affairs Council. The same shall apply where Articles are amended.
