國立成功大學「國際壯遊計畫」實施要點 Implementation Directions for the SMART Program of National Cheng Kung University 106年7月19日第805次主管會報通過 Approved in the 805th Supervisor Meeting on July 19, 2017
一、 國立成功大學(以下簡稱本校)為鼓勵學生開拓國際視野與增強國際移動力,特推動國際壯遊計畫(SATU Mobility Action for Regional Talents,英文簡稱為SMART Program,以下簡稱本計畫),提供本校在學碩士生在臺灣、東南亞、南亞三地跨域學習,特訂定本要點。 1. To encourage students to develop an international vision and enhance their international mobility, National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter “the University”) has enacted these directions to promote the Southeast and South Asia and Taiwan Universities (SATU) Mobility Action for Regional Talents Program (SMART Program; hereinafter “the Program”) and provide master’s students with the opportunity to engage in cross-boundary learning in Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and South Asia.
二、 「國際壯遊計畫」實施要點執行之範疇乃依據「臺灣與東南亞暨南亞大學校長論壇(SATU)」架構下的雙邊或多邊合作協議,本校在學碩士生得依本要點完成合作協議規定事項後,取得合作協議所規範之證明。 2. The implementation directions for the Program are based on bilateral or multilateral collaboration agreements under the framework of the SATU Presidents’ Forum. Current master’s students at the University may acquire the certificate stipulated in the collaboration agreement after completing matters specified in the agreement in accordance with the guidelines.
三、 本計畫經國際事務處公告甄選訊息後,申請人須檢附報名資料,送國際事務處依甄選簡章進行甄選作業。國際事務處於申請截止後30日內公告通知甄選結果。 3. After information regarding the screening and selection of students is announced by the Office of International Affairs (OIA), applicants must submit their application information to the OIA for screening and selection in accordance with the selection directions. The OIA shall announce the results within 30 days of the application deadline.
四、 本校在學碩士生須經由指導教授同意後,始得提出報名資料。報名資料應包括如下:報名表、大學部歷年成績單並註記排名、讀書計畫、語言能力證明、自傳及其他有助審查之資料。讀書計畫之內容應包括如下: (一)修業年限至少二年,包含境外學習至少半年,及境內業界實習或本校實作至少半年。 (二)境外學習須取得東南亞、南亞合作協議學校同意,併檢附境外學習內容規 劃。 (三)境內業界實習須取得業界實習機構同意,併檢附業界實習內容規劃; 如在本校實作須檢附實作內容規劃。 (四)修課學分數須符合所屬就讀系所及合作協議規定,修課課程可跨院、系所,惟須為英語授課且經指導教授同意。 4. Current master’s students at the University may only submit their application documents after approval from their academic advisor. Their application should include the following documents: application form, university department transcripts from previous years (class ranking included), study plan, proof of language proficiency, autobiography, and other information beneficial to the review. The study plan should include the following: (1) A plan for a minimum of 2 years of study, including a minimum of 6 months of overseas study and a 6-month internship in domestic industries or practical training at the University. (2) For the overseas study, students should acquire the consent of universities in South and Southeast Asia with a collaboration agreement and include a plan for overseas learning. (3) For internships in domestic industries, students should seek approval of internship organizations and attach an internship plan; a plan should also be submitted for practical training at the University. (4) Course credits should meet the requirements stipulated by the enrolled department and collaboration agreement. Students may choose courses in different colleges and departments; however, they must be taught in English and approved by the students’ academic advisor.
五、 獲核可本計畫之碩士生,須於完成計畫後兩個月內提送審核資料至審查委員會,經審查通過後,始能取得完成計畫之證明。審核資料應包括如下:成績單、實習證明與成果報告書。 5. Master’s students who have been approved for the Program shall submit their review documents to the review committee within 2 months of completing the Program, and they will receive a certificate of completion of the Program after they have passed the review. The review documents include their transcripts, internship certificate, and results report.
六、 審查委員會由校長指派副校長一人擔任召集人,並由教務長、學務長、國際長及校內外兩名專業領域教授等共同組成。 6. The Executive Vice President shall, upon appointment by the President, act as the chairperson of the review committee; the remaining committee members shall be comprised of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Vice President for Student Affairs, Vice President for International Affairs, and two on- and off-campus professors who are experts in their fields.
七、 本要點如有未盡事宜,依各協議校之協議書規定辦理。 7. Any matters not mentioned herein shall be handled in accordance with the agreement of each collaborating university.
八、 本要點經主管會報通過後實施,修正時亦同。 8. These directions shall be implemented upon approval in a Supervisor Meeting, and the same applies to any amendments.
