一、國立成功大學(以下簡稱本校)為獎勵各系(所)推動與國際學術機構之交流,促使本校成為 與全球接軌之國際化高等教育學府,特訂定本要點。

1.  National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter “the University”) has enacted these directions to reward its departments and institutes for promoting exchanges with international academic institutions, facilitating the University becoming an international higher education institution that is connected with the world.

 

二、為推動本校國際化與辦理獎勵審查事宜,國際事務處得設推動國際化獎勵審查委員會(以下簡稱本委員會),由國際事務長擔任召集人,各學院代表五至十人組成。委員任期二年,期滿得續聘。本委員會開會時,國際事務處各組組長得列席說明。

2.  To promote the internationalization of the University and implement award reviews, the Office of International Affairs may establish an international affairs committee. The committee consists of 5–10 members composed of the representatives from each college, all of whom have a 2-year tenure that is extendable upon expiration. The division directors of the Office of International Affairs may attend the committee meeting.

 

三、獎勵評選標準如下:

(一)雙語授課率。

(二)短期國際移動學生數。

(三)國際化校園環境建置:

1. 文宣、網頁、法規之雙語化。

2. 設置國際化諮詢窗口。

3. 境外生輔導機制。

4. 其他相關之友善軟硬體設施與服務。

(四)國際鏈結:

1. 提供院系所級交換生、雙學位與赴外實習機會。

2. 提供跨國合作交流機會。

3. 近三年內簽訂之雙聯學位合約計畫。

4. 近二年舉辦之夏日學校、短期課程及夏/冬令營。

5. 來訪二週以上專家學者數。

 

3.  The award review criteria are as follows:

(1)  The number of courses taught in foreign languages.

(2)  Global mobility: the number of outgoing students.

(3)  Promoting the internationalization of the University campus:

      i.   Bilingual literature, website and regulations.

      ii.  Establishment of a consultation window for internationalization

      iii. Mechanism of overseas student’s counseling.

      iv. Other relevant service facility.

(4) Global engagement

      i.   Provide the opportunities of exchange programs, dual degrees and overseas internship.

      ii.  Provide opportunities for international cooperation.

      iii. Dual degree contract plan signed in the past 3 years

      iv. Summer schools, short courses, summer/winter camps held in the current two years.

      v.  The number of experts and scholars who have visited for more than 2 weeks.

 

四、本委員會每兩年依各系(所)提出之相關有利資料,進行綜合評選。獎勵如下:

(一)特優:一名,核給業務費新臺幣十萬元。

(二)優等:五名,核給業務費新臺幣五萬元。

(三)甲等:五名,核給業務費新臺幣三萬元。

4. The international affairs committee shall conduct a comprehensive review of the information submitted by the each department and institute each two year, and then select one High Distinction Award, three Excellence Awards, and three First Class Awards. The award values are as follows:

(1)       The winner of the High Distinction Award shall receive an operation fee of NT$100,000.

(2)       The winners of the Excellence Award shall receive an operation fee of NT$500,000.

(3)       The winners of the First Class Award shall receive an operation fee of NT$30,000.

 

五、獲獎系所得推薦有功職工至多二名,每名頒予獎勵金新臺幣三千元為原則。

5. Departments and institutes that win the award may recommend up to two employees with merit, each of whom is eligible for a bonus of NT$3,000.

 

六、本要點所需經費,由本校校務基金項下支應。

6. The funds required for these guidelines are covered by the University’s endowment fund.

 

七、本要點經校務基金管理委員會及行政會議通過後實施,修正時亦同。

7. These directions shall be implemented following their approval by the NCKU University Endowment Fund Management Committee and an administrative meeting, and the same applies to any amendments.
