一、國立成功大學(以下簡稱本校)為獎勵各系(所)推動與國際學術機構之交流,促使本校成為與全球接軌之國際化高等教育學府,特訂定本要點。

1. National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter “the University”) has enacted these directions to reward its departments and institutes for promoting exchanges with international academic institutions, facilitating the University becoming an international higher education institution that is connected with the world.

 

二、為推動本校國際化與辦理獎勵審查事宜,國際事務處得設國際事務委員會,由國際事務長擔任召集人,並設置以副國際事務長及各學院代表等組成之委員5至15人,委員任期二年,期滿得續聘之。國際事務處各組組長得列席委員會議。

2.  To promote the internationalization of the University and implement award reviews, the Office of International Affairs may establish an international affairs committee, with the Vice President for International Affairs serving as its chairperson. The committee consists of 5–15 members composed of the Associate Vice President for International Affairs and representatives from each college, all of whom have a 2-year tenure that is extendable upon expiration. The division directors of the Office of International Affairs may attend the committee meeting.

 

三、獎勵審查標準如下:

(一)提升世界大學排名:

1、國際合著優質論文發表比例。

2、國際學位生人數佔各系(所)學生總數比例。

3、跨國學位合作校數。

4、外籍專任教師比例。

5、國際專利獲證數。

(二)推動校園國際化:

1、設置國際化諮詢窗口及系(所)網頁雙語化。

2、至本校進行研究、實習、交換之國際非學位生人數佔各系(所)學生總數比例。

3、赴國外大學或研究機構進行研究、實習、交換、修習雙聯學位之本校學生人數佔各系(所)學生總數比例。

4、非專任外籍優秀教學研究人員數。

5、外語授課課程數。

6、重要國際會議主辦次數。

7、參與重要學術組織運作之人次

8、其他推動國際化相關資料。

3. The award review criteria are as follows:

 (1) Improving the world ranking of the University:

      i. The proportion of coauthored high-quality international papers.

ii. The proportion of international students in relation to the total number of students in each   department (institute).

      iii. The number of schools with international degree collaborations.

iv. The proportion of full-time foreign professors.

v. The number of international patents obtained.

  (2) Promoting the internationalization of the University campus:

i. Establishment of a consultation window for internationalization as well as bilingual websites for departments and institutes.

ii. The proportion of international nondegree students who engage in research, internships, and exchange at the University in relation to the total number of students in each department (institute).

iii. The proportion of University students enrolled in foreign universities or research institutions for research, internship, exchange, and dual degrees in relation to the total number of students in each department (institute).

 iv. The number of outstanding non-full-time foreign teaching and research personnel.

 v. The number of courses taught in foreign languages.

 vi. The number of important international conferences organized.

 vii. The number of people involved in the operation of important academic organizations.

        viii. Other relevant information for promoting internationalization.

 

四、國際事務委員會於每年四月底前就各系(所)提出資料,進行綜合評選出「特優」一名、「優等」三名、「甲等」及「最佳進步獎」若干名,獎勵如下:

(一)評選特優者,核給業務費新臺幣二十萬元為原則。

(二)評選優等者,核給業務費新臺幣十萬元為原則。

(三)評選甲等者,核給業務費新臺幣五萬元為原則。

(四)評選最佳進步獎者,核給業務費新臺幣二萬元為原則。

凡連續兩年獲得特優或優等獎項之系所於次年將暫不評選為特優或優等。

4. The international affairs committee shall conduct a comprehensive review of the information submitted by the each department and institute before the end of April each year, and then select one High Distinction Award, three Excellence Awards, and several First Class Awards and Best Progress Awards. The award values are as follows:

(1)    The winner of the High Distinction Award shall receive an operation fee of NT$200,000.

(2)    The winners of the Excellence Award shall receive an operation fee of NT$100,000.

(3)    The winners of the First Class Award shall receive an operation fee of NT$50,000.

(4)    The winners of the Best Progress Award shall receive an operation fee of NT$ 20,000.

Departments or institutes receiving the High Distinction Award or Excellence Award for two consecutive years will not be evaluated as either in the following year.

 

五、獲獎系所得推薦有功職工至多二名,每名頒予獎勵金新臺幣五千元為原則。

5.    Departments and institutes that win the award may recommend up to two employees with merit, each of whom is eligible for a bonus of NT$5,000.

 

六、本要點所須經費由本校校務基金項下支應。

6.   The funds required for these guidelines are covered by the University’s endowment fund.

 

七、本要點經校務基金管理委員會及行政會議通過後實施,修正時亦同。

7.  These directions shall be implemented following their approval by the NCKU University Endowment Fund Management Committee and an administrative meeting, and the same applies to any amendments.
