一、 本校學生事務處為推薦品學兼優或在學生組織有傑出表現之學生,特訂定「國立成功大學優秀學生遴選要點」(以下簡稱本要點)。
1. National Cheng Kung University Directions for the Selection of the Outstanding Students (hereafter referred to as the Directions) are prescribed by The University’s Office of Student Affairs to promote student excellence with respect to character and academic performance and outstanding performance in student organizations.
二、 為公平、公正、公開遴選優秀學生接受校內、外表揚,特設置優秀學生遴選委員會(以下簡稱本會)。
2. The Committee for the Selection of the Outstanding Students (hereafter referred to as the Committee) is specially established to select outstanding students through a fair and equitable public process to receive commendation within and without the university.
三、 本要點所稱之主辦單位,為學生事務處學生活動發展組。
3. The organizer, as referred to in the Directions, is the Student Development and Activities Division under the Office of Student Affairs.
四、 本會置學生、行政人員、教師委員共七人,任期一學年,由主辦單位綜理相關事宜並推派主席主持會議,其組成方式為:
(一) 學生自治組織三人(社團聯合會、系學會聯合會、學生會各推薦一人)。
(二) 學校行政人員三人。
(三) 學校教師一人。學生委員得為受推薦學生,但應採取迴避原則,以免影響本會公正性。
4. The Committee shall consist of seven members, including students, administrative staff, and teachers with a tenure of at least 1 academic year. The organizer shall be responsible for overall management of the Committee and assign a chair to preside over the meetings. The makeup of the Committee shall be as follows:
(1) Three members from autonomous student organizations (the United Clubs Association, United Departmental Student Associations, and the Student Union shall each nominate one person).
(2) Three members from the university administrative staff.
(3) One member from among the university teachers. The student members may be selected from among the nominated students but shall recuse themselves from the selection process to avoid impairing the impartiality of the Committee.
五、 主辦單位視實際獎項要求公告優秀學生遴選辦法,各單位、教職員工、學生團體或個人,得向本會推薦學生參加遴選。
5. The organizer shall announce the rules for selecting outstanding students based on the actual awards; any department, teaching or administrative staff, student organization, or individual may nominate students to the Committee for consideration.
六、 本要點經學務主管會議通過後實施,修正時亦同。
6. The Directions are passed in the Student Affairs Management Meeting before implementation. The same shall apply to any amendments to the directions.
