Establishment Directions for the Dual-Degree Programs Committee at National Cheng Kung University

一、國立成功大學(以下簡稱本校)為順利推動、執行與國外學校之雙學位合作計畫、提升行政效率,並解決各系、所、學位學程執行雙學位合作計畫可能遭遇之困難,特設雙學位執行小組(以下簡稱本小組),並訂定本要點。

1. National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter “the University”) has established a dual-degree programs committee (hereinafter “the Committee”) and enacted these directions to promote and implement dual-degree collaboration programs with foreign universities, as well as to improve administrative efficiency and solve potential difficulties encountered by each department, institute, and degree program during implementation.

 

二、本小組之任務如下:

(一) 本校雙學位合作計畫推動方向之研訂。 

(二) 本校各系、所、學位學程學生雙學位計畫之督導事宜。

(三) 本校各系、所、學位學程提出與學生雙學位權益保障之審議事宜。

(四) 其他有關雙學位合作計畫執行相關事宜。

2. The tasks of the Committee are as follows:

 (1) Steering the development direction for the University’s dual-degree collaboration programs.

 (2) Overseeing the dual-degree programs for students from various departments, institutes, and degree programs.

 (3) Reviewing the rights protections for dual-degree program students raised by various departments, institutes, and degree programs.

 (4) Handling other matters related to the implementation of dual-degree collaboration programs.

 

三、本小組由國際長、教務長、各學院、通識教育中心代表各一人共同組成。本小組委員任期二年,連聘得連任。本小組置召集人由國際長擔任,置執行秘書一人,由小組委員經會議推選,襄助處理本小組處理行政事務。

3. The Committee is composed of the Vice President for International Affairs, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and a representative from each college and the Center for General Education. Committee members have a 2-year tenure, which may be extended if they are reappointed. The Vice President for International Affairs shall serve as the chairperson of the Committee, and an executive secretary shall be elected by the members to assist in handling the Committee’s administrative affairs.

 

四、本小組會議由召集人召集,每學期召開會議一次為原則,必要時得召開臨時會議。會議召開時,得邀請相關單位或人員列席報告或說明。各行政單位主管或學院代表因故無法出席會議時,得委請職務代理人出席會議。

4. A committee meeting, convened by the chairperson, shall be held once every semester, and an interim meeting may be held if necessary. Relevant units or personnel may be invited to attend and report at the meeting. A deputy shall be appointed in the event that the administrative unit supervisors or college representatives are unable to attend the meeting.

 

五、本小組應有二分之一以上委員出席,始得開議;出席委員二分之ㄧ以上同意始得議決。

5. The committee meeting may only convene with more than half the members present, and resolutions can only be passed if they are agreed by more than half of the present committee members.

 

六、推動雙學位合作計畫之系、所、學位學程應成立學生雙學位執行小組,或於系、所、學位學程務會議或相關會議中納入其功能機制,其成員得包含學生代表與系、所、學位學程代表各一人。

6. Departments, institutes, and degree programs that execute dual-degree collaboration programs should establish a student dual-degree implementation committee, or incorporate its functional mechanism into the existing and related conferences of the departments, institutes, degree programs. Its members should include one student representative as well as a representative from each department or degree program.

 

七、系、所、學位學程學生雙學位執行小組之任務如下:

(一)專業課程之規劃、雙學位學分認定與抵免之機制。

(二)訂定雙學位合作計畫協議書及訂定合作計畫。

(三)評估參與學生學習成效。

(四)雙學位相關權益申訴案件協商。

(五)其他有關學生雙學位權益保障等事宜。

7. The tasks of the student dual-degree implementation committee are as follows:

(1) Defining the core course list, courses accreditation and credits transfer guidelines under the dual degree collaboration

(2) Establishing agreements and collaboration plans for dual-degree collaboration programs

(3) Assessing the learning outcomes of participating students

(4) Moderating arguments over rights and responsibilities of parties involved under the dual degree collaboration program on a case-by-case basis

(5) Overseeing other matters regarding the protection of rights and interests of dual-degree students

 

八、系、所、學位學程學生雙學位執行小組應邀請有關人員或單位代表共同協商解決,並將協商解決方案,送請本小組備查。

8. The student dual-degree implementation committee should invite relevant personnel or unit representatives to discuss and resolve disputes, and send the solution to the Committee for reference.

 

九、本要點經行政會議通過後實施,修正時亦同。

9. These directions are in force following their approval in an administrative meeting indicated. The same procedure shall apply to any future amendments.
