一、為提供本校學生宿舍優質網路服務,善用網路資源,依據「國立成功大學校園網路使用規範」訂定本要點。

1. For the sake of providing a quality network environment in the student dormitory of the University and to make the best of network resources, these Directors are established in accordance with the NCKU Campus Network User Directions.

二、本校學生宿舍網路為校園網路一部分,主要目的為支援學術與研究活動。學生宿舍網路使用者(以下簡稱使用者)需自備個人電腦、網路卡及網路線,並遵守「教育部校園網路使用規範」、「臺灣學術網路管理規範」及「國立成功大學校園網路使用規範」。

2. The network in the student dormitory of the University is part of the campus network and is meant primarily to support academic and research activities. Users of the network in the student dormitory (hereinafter referred to as the “Users”) need to have their own computer, network card, and network cable and follow the Ministry of Education’s “Campus Network User Directions, Taiwan Academic Network Management Directions, and the NCKU Campus Network User Directions”.

三、使用者應善盡個人電腦管理責任,定期做系統更新、安裝防毒軟體、更新病毒碼,並隨時查看「學生宿舍網路管理系統」網站資訊,包括:使用說明、故障申告、停權公告、管理規則、技術資訊等。

3. The Users shall fulfill their responsibilities as their own computer’s manager by periodically updating their system, installing anti-virus software, updating the virus pattern, and checking the information on the website of the “Student Dormitory Network Management System”, including the instructions for use, failure reporting, suspended access announcement, management rules, and technical information, etc.

四、使用者不得為下列行為:

 (一)    傳送威脅性、猥褻性或不友善的資料。

 (二)    散佈電腦病毒或侵入未經授權使用的電腦。

 (三)    使用或傳送未經授權的檔案。

 (四)    蓄意破壞或不正當使用網路設備。

 (五)架設非法網站或從事營利性商業活動。

 (六)    將學生宿舍網路帳號借予他人使用。

 (七)    私自串接網路設備供他人使用。

 (八)    大量上傳或下載資料,超過管理單位公告之合理傳輸量。

 (九)    其他任何濫用網路資源或影響網路正常運作之行為,例如:大量傳送垃圾郵件、網路攻擊行為等。

違反前項規定者,管理單位得視情節停止其網路使用權1天至1學期,已繳納之宿舍網路使用費不予退費。違規情節嚴重或涉及違法者,另提報學生事務處或相關單位處理。

4. Users may not engage themselves in any of the following:

(1)   Sending threatening, obscene, or unfriendly materials

(2)   Spreading computer viruses or breaking into a computer without authorization

(3)   Using or sending unauthorized files

(4)   Damaging on purpose or using improperly network equipment

(5)   Setting up illegal websites or getting involved in for-profit commercial activities

(6)   Lending the student dormitory network account to someone else

(7)   Connecting network equipment privately to facilitate the access by someone else

(8)   Uploading or downloading data in large quantities, exceeding the reasonable transmission volume announced by the management unit

(9)   Any other abuse of network resources or act that affects normal operation of the network, such as sending junk emails in large quantities or online attacks, etc.

Violators of the foregoing requirements shall be subject to suspension of access to the network for 1 day to 1 semester by the management unit, depending on the severity of the circumstance. The paid fees for using the dormitory network will not be refunded. Serious or illegal violations will also be submitted to the Student Affairs Office or related units for subsequent management.

五、為合理使用網路頻寬,保障正常使用者權益,管理單位得依教育部或本校政策,實施網路流量管理或限制措施。相關措施由管理單位公告於「學生宿舍網路管理系統」網站。

5. In order to reasonably use the network bandwidth and to protect the rights of normal users, the management unit may implement network flow management or restrictive measures in accordance with the policies of the Ministry of Education or the University. The management unit will announce related measures on the website of the Student Dormitory Network Management System.

六、使用學生宿舍網路發生故障時,可透過「學生宿舍網路管理系統」申告。惟故障維修僅限寢室資訊插座至校園網路間之連線檢測,個人電腦軟、硬體及網路設定等問題不在維修範圍。

6. In case of failure of the student dormitory network, complaints may be filed through the Student Dormitory Network Management System. Failure repairs, however, are limited to the detection of the connection status between the modular jack in the student’s room and the campus network and do not cover the repairs of personal computer’s software and hardware as well as network settings.

七、學生宿舍網路之管理單位為計算機與網路中心。

7. The management unit for the student dormitory network is the Computer and Network Center.

八、本要點經本校計算機與網路委員會通過後實施,修訂時亦同。

8. The Directions are to be enforced following approval by the Computer and Network Committee of the University. The same shall apply to their revisions.
