國立成功大學計算機與網路中心教學特優教師遴選要點 NCKU Directions for the Selection of Outstanding Faculty in the Computer and Network Center |

一、國立成功大學計算機與網路中心(以下簡稱本中心)為鼓勵本中心教師致力於教學,提升教學品質,依「國立成功大學教學特優教師獎勵與遴選要點」(以下簡稱本校遴選要點)及「國立成功大學非屬學院教學特優教師獎勵與遴選要點」(以下簡稱非屬學院遴選要點)訂定本要點。 1. The Computer and Network Center of National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter referred to as the “Center”) establishes these Directions for the sake of encouraging its faculty to devote to teaching and to improve quality of education in compliance with the NCKU Directions for Rewarding and Selection of Outstanding Teaching Faculty (hereinafter referred to as the “NCKU Selection Directions”) and the NCKU Directions for Rewarding and Selection of Outstanding Non-College-Teaching Faculty (hereinafter referred to as the “Non-college Selection Directions”). 二、本中心現任專任教師或專案教師於本中心任教滿三年以上,熱心教學堪為表率,且無本校遴選要點不再推薦之情形者,得為本要點推薦候選人。 2. Full-time teachers[1] or project teachers currently working at the Center and having taught at the Center for at least 3 years who will be a role model with their devotion to education and do not have the conditions to disqualify them for further referrals specified in the NCKU Selection Directions may serve as the recommended candidate herein. 三、教學特優教師之遴選,每學年辦理一次,惟當年度非屬學院可推薦名額未達一人時不予辦理。第一階段由本中心遴選委員會辦理初選,初選通過名單(一至二人)送非屬學院辦理第二階段複選,複選結果送教務處簽請校長核定。 3.The selection of outstanding teachers takes place once a year. If the number of non-college-teaching candidates for the year is less than 1, however, it will not take place. The Selection Committee of the Center will organize the first stage, that is, the initial selection. The list of candidates having been qualified through initial selection (1 to 2 people) is sent for the second stage, that is, the follow-up selection for non-colleges. Results of the follow-up selection are submitted to the Academic Affairs Division[1] and then to the President of the University to be approved. 四、本中心教學特優教師遴選委員會之召集人、委員名單與任期,比照本中心教師評審委員會。遴選會議應有過半數委員出席始得開議,經出席委員三分之二以上同意,始得決議。 4. The list of the convener and members of the Selection Committee for Outstanding Teachers of the Center and their tenures shall follow the same criteria as those for the Teacher Evaluation Committee[1] of the Center. The selection meeting may only take place when attended by a majority of its members, and a decision may only be made when approved by at least two-thirds of the attending members. If a candidate is also a member of the Selection Committee for Outstanding Teacher of the Center, he/she shall recuse himself/herself. 五、本中心教師如欲參加遴選,應於每年3月31日前提出非屬學院遴選要點之申請表,含佐證資料與說明文件,以利辦理初選。 5. If a teacher of the Center wishs to take part in the selection, they shall submit the Application Form under the Non-College Selection Directions by March 31 each year, including supporting materials and informative documents to facilitate the organization of the initial selection. Among other items in the Application Form in the foregoing paragraph, those defined by the Center (totaling 55 points) are as follows: (1)Hours of lecture over the past 3 years. (2)The number of students taught and graduate students instructed over the past 3 years. (3)Information continuing education or training courses taught over the past 3 years. (4)Other specific outstanding accomplishments in teaching over the past 3 years.
6. These Directions are to be enforced following approval through the executive board meeting of the Center. The same shall apply to their revisions. |
