一、國立成功大學計算機與網路中心(以下簡稱本中心),為提升教師教學、研究、服務及輔導品質,特依據國立成功大學(以下簡稱本校)教師評量要點,訂定本要點。

1.In order to improve the quality of teaching, research, service and counseling of faculty members, the Computer and Network Center in National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter referred to as the “Center”) hereby establishes the Directions in accordance with the National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter referred to as the “NCKU”) Directions for the Evaluation of Faculty Members.

二、本中心專任教師應依本要點進行評量初審。

2.The Center’s full-time faculty members shall undergo the preliminary evaluation according to the Directions.

三、接受評量之教師須於當年度三月十五日前,提出相關資料送交本中心教師評審委員會審查。

The faculty members to undergo the evaluation shall submit the relevant information to the faculty evaluation committee of the Center by March 15 of the current year.

四、本中心教師評審委員會委員若為受評當事人,應迴避與自身評量有關之討論及議決。會議之召開須達三分之二以上委員出席,始得開議。應迴避委員不列入應出席委員人數計算。

4.Where any of the Center’s faculty evaluation committee members are also the reviewee, he/she shall recuse himself/herself from the discussion and resolution of the motion concerning the evaluation of him/her. The committee meeting may be convened only if more than two-thirds of the members attend the meeting. The members who shall recuse themselves with justified reasons, if any, shall be excluded from the number of present members.

五、教師評量應綜合教學、研究、服務與輔導成效,予以客觀審慎之評量。教學、研究、服務與輔導等項目之權重比例,分為下列各組,由受評人自選一組進行評量初審:

(一) A組:教學(40%)、研究(40%)、服務與輔導(20%)。

(二) B組:教學(40%)、研究(30%)、服務與輔導(30%)。

(三) C組:教學(30%)、研究(40%)、服務與輔導(30%)。

前項受評成績,經教師評審委員會出席委員二分之一以上皆評定為70分以上者,為評量通過。

教學、研究、服務與輔導之評量參考細目如附件。

The evaluation of faculty members shall be conducted based on the consolidated effects of teaching, research, and service and counseling, and shall be performed objectively and prudently. The scale of each indicator, namely teaching, research, and service and counseling, are categorized into the following groups, and a group will be selected by the reviewee for the preliminary evaluation:

(1) Group A: teaching (40%), research (40%), service and counseling (20%)

(2) Group B: teaching (40%), research (30%), service and counseling (30%)

(3) Group C: teaching (30%), research (40%), service and counseling (30%)

The evaluation is passed only upon the scores in the preceding paragraph are evaluated as no less than 70 by half and above of the faculty evaluation committee members.

The details of the evaluation of teaching, research, service and counseling are shown in the attachment.

六、初審通過者,再提電機資訊學院教師評審委員會辦理複審。

6.Upon approval by the preliminary review, the application shall be recommended to the faculty evaluation committee of the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science for a secondary review.

七、初審未通過者,本中心教師評審委員會應敘明理由通知受評量教師,並就其教學、研究、服務與輔導之方向及成果提出改善建議。受評量教師對初審結果不服者,得向電機資訊學院教師評審委員會提出申復。

7.Where the reviewee fails in the evaluation upon preliminary review, the faculty evaluation committee of the Center shall state the relevant reasons therefor. A reviewee who disagrees with the preliminary review results shall submit a written appeal to the faculty evaluation committee of the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

八、本要點未盡事宜,悉依本校教師評量要點規定辦理。

Any matters not covered herein shall be implemented in accordance with the NCKU Directions for the Evaluation of Faculty Members.

九、本要點經本中心教師評審委員會通過,經電機資訊學院轉校教師評審委員會備查後實施,修正時亦同。

The Directions shall be implemented upon approval for reference by the NCKU Faculty Evaluation Committee via the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science after the Regulations are approved at a meeting of the faculty evaluation committee of the Center. The same shall apply where the Directions are amended.

教師評量參考細目

Evaluation criteria for faculty members

(一) 教學評量參考項目:

1.課程:包括學科數目、學分數、授課時數、選課人數、教學大綱、教學教材等。

2.論文指導(含指導學生數)。

3.教學評鑑與教學特優教師獎項。

4.開授中心資訊推廣教育課程。

5.其他有助於受評者教學評量之證明。

(1) Evaluation criteria for teaching:

1. Curriculum: Including the number of academic subjects, number of credits, teaching hours, number of registered students, course outline, and teaching materials, et al.

2. Thesis guidance (including the number of students).

3. Teaching evaluation and outstanding teaching excellence awards.

4. The offering of continuing education programs for the Center.

5.Other proofs that benefit the teaching evaluation on the reviewee.

(二) 研究評量參考項目:

1.發表或已接受之期刊論文。

2.擔任國科會研究計畫主持人。

3.擔任非國科會及其他機構委託之研究計畫主持人。

4.學術專書、技術專書或報告、專利、學術會議論文和其他與研究領域相關之著作。

5.資訊相關之專業檢定合格證書(照)。

6.開發校務資訊系統及其實作成果等技術報告。

7.其他有助於受評者研究評量之證明。

(2) Evaluation criteria for research:

1. Published or accepted journals and papers.

2. Served as principal investigator of any research project funded by the National Science and Technology Council.

3. Served as principal investigator of any research project funded by any institutions other than the National Science and Technology Council, and contracted by other institutions.

4. Academic publications, technical publications or reports, patents, academic conference papers, and other works related to the research area.

5. IT-related professional qualification certificates (licenses).

6. Development of school information systems, and technical reports with implementation results.

7. Other proofs that benefit the research evaluation on the reviewee.

(三) 服務與輔導評量參考項目:

1.擔任中心主管或中心專案經理。

2.擔任學術期刊之主編或編輯委員。

3.擔任國科會複審委員。

4.擔任學會之理事長或理監事。

5.協助中心舉辦國際性或校內外之研討會。

6.中心大型服務項目之規劃與推動。

7.爭取大型之計畫案或研討會。

8.開發校務資訊系統或管理大型主機等。

9.主持本中心相關資訊認證中心之業務者。

10.推動中心相關服務通過認證者。

11.對學校有特殊貢獻並獲學校所頒發之敘獎者。

12.其他有助於受評者服務評量之證明。

(3) Evaluation criteria for service and counseling:

1. Served as the Center’s director or project manager.

2. Served as the chief editor or an editorial board member of some academic journals.

3. Served as the evaluation committee member of the National Science and Technology Council.

4. Served as the chairman or director/supervisor of some academic society.

5. Helped the Center to hold international or intra-school/inter-school conferences.

6. Planned and boosted large-scale service projects for the Center.

7. Strove for large-scale projects or conferences.

8. Developed school imformation systems or managed large-scale hosts, et al.

9. In charge of the Center’s affairs about information certification.

10. Passed the certificate by boosting the Center’s related service.

11. Made special contributions to the school and was awarded by the school.

12. Other proofs that benefit the service evaluation on the reviewee.
