一、申請抵免學分者,需為重考之博士生或重新申請入學並依法取得學籍之博士班新生,其已修及格之科目學分,得酌情辦理抵免及提高編級,可抵免之學分總和最高為 6 學分;原就讀本所之重考生專題討論最多抵免 4 學期,抵免最高為 15 學分。

二、申請抵免之各科成績標準應依研究生章程規定達七十分。

三、欲抵免學分之該科需為開設在本校或外校之碩士班或碩博合開者之課程,並需經指導教授同意始可抵免。

四、抵免學分之原則規定如下:

 (一)科目名稱、內容相同者:需經本所任課老師及指導教授同意並簽章。

 (二)科目名稱不同而內容相同者;或科目名稱、內容不同而性質相同者:需經原任課老師提出課程內容證明後(請原任課老師簽名並加蓋原系所章),由本所任課老師認定及指導教授同意並簽章。

五、申請抵免學分之期限及程序:

(一)申請期限:新生應依本校公告時程上線提出申請。

(二)申請程序:請至本校教務處註冊組網站線上申請抵免學分並上傳相關證明文件。

六、本原則未盡事宜,悉依國立成功大學辦理學生抵免學分辦法及有關規章辦理。

  1. Applicants for credit waiver must be Ph.D. students retaking courses or new Ph.D. students who reapply for admission and have legally obtained student status. Credits for courses passed may be waived and the grading level may be raised at the discretion of the institute. The maximum total credits that can be waived is 6 credits. For re-entry students who originally studied in this institute, a maximum of 4 semesters of seminar can be waived, with a maximum of 15 credits waived.
  2. The grading standard for each course applying for waiver should reach a score of seventy points as stipulated in the NCKU Graduate Student Policies and Rules.
  3. The courses eligible for waiver are those offered in the Master's program at this university or other universities or courses jointly offered by master’s and PhD 's program, subject to the approval of the supervising professor.
  4. The principles for credit waiver are as follows:
    1. (a)  For courses with the same name and content: approval and signature are required from the teacher of the course in this Institute and the supervising professor.
    2. (b)  For courses with different names but similar content; or courses with different names and content but similar nature: after the former teacher of the course provides proof of course content (signature of the former teacher and stamp of the  original department's seal are required), approval and signature are required from the teacher of the course in this Institute and the supervising professor.
  5.  Deadline and procedures for applying for credit waiver:
    1. (a)  Application Deadline: New students should submit their applications online according to the schedule announced by the university.
    2. (b)  Application Procedure: Please visit the website of the Registration Division of the Academic Affairs Office of the university to apply for credit waiver online and upload relevant supporting documents.
  6. Matters not covered by this principle shall be handled in accordance with the NCKU Course Credit Waiver Regulations and other regulations and rules of National Cheng Kung University.
