第一條   為因應高等教育國際化,提昇本校與國際間之學術交流,推動國際合作及國際教育事務,依據本校組織規程第八條之規定,設置「國立成功大學國際事務處」(以下簡稱本處)。

Article 1  In response to the internationalization of higher education, and to enhance academic exchanges between National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter “the University”) and the international community as well as promote international collaboration and international education affairs, the Office of International Affairs of National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter “the Office”) is established in accordance with Article 8 of the organizational regulations of the University.

 

第二條  本處任務如下:

一、推動及辦理本校與國外學校及學術機構之學術合作締約及交流互訪事宜。

二、辦理本校與校級簽約學校之學生雙向交換及研修事宜。

三、推動及承辦學生之國際性參訪及短期交流活動。

四、推動及辦理國際學生、僑生與陸生招生及入學事宜。

五、辦理國際學生、僑生與陸生新生講習、交流活動、保險等事務,並協助辦理生活輔導與簽證之事宜。

六、協助辦理各項國際學術合作、國際會議及國際學生、僑生與陸生學生事務等事宜。

Article 2  The tasks of the Office are as follows:

1.      Promoting and handling academic collaboration and exchange visits between the University and foreign universities and academic institutions.

2.      Handling the two-way exchange and training for students of the University and other contracted universities.

3.      Promoting and organizing international visits and short-term exchanges for students.

4.      Promoting and handling the recruitment and enrollment of international students, overseas Chinese students, and mainland Chinese students.

5.      Handling freshmen orientation, exchange activities, and insurance for international students, overseas Chinese students, and mainland Chinese students, as well as assisting with life counseling and visa applications.

6.      Assisting in affairs such as international academic collaboration, international conferences, and matters related to international students, overseas Chinese students, and mainland Chinese students.

 

第三條  本處依業務性質分為二組:

一、國際合作組:負責推動國際學術合作交流並推展國際學者及學生交流事宜。

二、國際學生事務組:負責國際學生招生、入學、獎學金、學生事務性工作及協助生活輔導相關事宜。

三、僑生與陸生事務組:負責僑生及陸生招生、入學、獎學金、學生事務性工作及協助生活輔導相事宜。

四、國際化資訊與服務組:推動本校國際化相關事宜、統計相關資料及協調校內相關服務事宜。

Article 3  The Office is divided into four divisions based on the nature of operations:

1.      The International Cooperation Division, which is responsible for promoting international academic collaboration and exchanges as well as promoting exchanges between international scholars and students.

2.      The International Student Affairs Division, which is responsible for recruitment, admission, scholarships, student affairs, and life counseling for international students.

3.      The Overseas and Mainland Chinese Students Affairs Division, which is responsible for the recruitment, admission, scholarships, student affairs, and life counseling for overseas and mainland Chinese students.

4.   The Globalization Services and Statistics Division, which is responsible for promoting matters related to internationalization of the University, collecting statistical data, and coordinating relevant services.

 

第四條  本處置國際事務長一人,綜理本校國際學術合作交流及國際教育相關事務。並得置副國際事務長一人,協助綜理本校國際學術合作交流及國際教育相關事務。國際事務長及副國際事務長由校長聘請校內副教授以上專任教師兼任,任期依本校組織規程第三十條規定辦理。

Article 4  Article 4 A Vice President for International Affairs shall be appointed for the Office to coordinate matters related to international academic collaboration and exchanges as well as international education of the University. An Associate Vice President for International Affairs shall be appointed to assist in coordinating matters related to international academic collaboration and exchanges as well as international education of the University. The candidates for Vice President and Associate Vice President for International Affairs shall be appointed by the President from the full-time associate professors or above, and their tenure shall be handled in accordance with Article 30 of the organizational regulations of the University.

 

第五條  本處置秘書一人。下設四組,各組置組長一名,由國際事務長簽請校長聘請助理教授以上教師或職級相當人員兼任,或由職員擔任之,各組依業務需要,得置職員若干人,其員額由本校總員額內調充。

Article 5  Article 5 A secretary, under whom four divisions are established, shall be appointed for the Office. A director shall be appointed for each division, and relevant candidates shall be assistant professors or above or staff of equivalent rank who are approved by the Vice President for International Affairs and appointed by the President. Each division may employ several staff members depending on their operational needs, with posts being held by staff within the University.

 

第六條  本處設國際事務委員會,由國際事務長簽請校長聘請校內外教授或專家學者12至15人組成委員會,研討國際事務之發展方向等相關事宜。相關組成辦法另定之。

Article 6 Article 6  An International Affairs Committee shall be established for the Office. The Vice President for International Affairs shall request the President to appoint 12 to 15 professors or experts from the University or from outside the University to form the committee and discuss matters related to the development direction of international affairs.

 

第七條  本處每學期至少召開一次國際事務會議。

Article 7 The Office shall hold at least one international affairs conference every semester.

 

第八條  本辦法經校務會議通過後實施,修正時亦同。

Article 8  These guidelines shall be implemented upon approval by the University Council, and the same applies to any amendments.
