一、 國立成功大學人文社會科學中心(以下簡稱本中心)為落實本中心設置辦法第二條所賦予之任務,並確保本中心研究品質,延攬及有效進用博士後研究員,特訂定國立成功大學人文社會科學中心博士後研究人員聘用及考核要點(以下簡稱本要點)。

1.      The Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter the “Center”) has established the Guidelines for Employment and Review of Postdoctoral Researchers of the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter the “Guidelines” in order to implement its missions under Article 2 of the Regulations for Establishment of the Center, as well as to ensure the research quality of the Center and to solicit and effectively recruit postdoctoral researchers.

二、 本中心博士後研究人員之聘任,除補助或委託機關(構)另有規定外,悉依本要點辦理。

2.  Unless otherwise provided by the subsidizing or mandating authority (institution), the employment of postdoctoral researchers by the Center shall be governed by these Guidelines.

三、 博士後研究人員需具備下列資格:

(1) 在公立大學或教育部立案之私立大學、獨立學院或教育部認可之國外大學、獨立學院獲得博士學位。

(2) 成績優良且具獨立研究能力。

3.  Postdoctoral researchers shall meet qualifications below:

(1) Ph.D. degree from a public university, a private university or independent college registered with the Ministry of Education or an overseas university or independent college recognized by the Ministry of Education.

(2) Good grades and independent research capability.

四、 本中心各計畫主持人應在計畫通過後向中心申請博士後研究人員,並檢附下列資料:

(1) 已通過之研究計畫書。

(2) 延攬人才申請書。

(3) 個人代表著作至少1份。

(4) 博士後研究人員之學經歷證明文件。

4.  Each project coordinator of the Center shall file an application as a postdoctoral researcher with the Center after his/her project has been approved and submit below materials:

(1) Approved research project.

(2) Application for talent recruitment.

(3) At least 1 piece of personal representative written work.

(4) Supporting documents showing academic and professional backgrounds of the postdoctoral researcher.

五、 本中心將博士後研究人員個人代表著作送外審(外審審查表格如附件),達75分及格者, 學經歷及申請書,提送本中心教師及研究人員評審委員會(以下簡稱本中心教評會)審查,通過後,再將延攬人才申請書送至申請經費單位。

5.  The Center will submit the personal representative written work of the postdoctoral researcher for external review (External Review Form attached).  The passing scores are 75. After submission and approval from the Teachers and Researchers Review Committee of the Center (hereinafter the “CHASS Teachers Review Committee”), the Talent Recruitment Application Form will be sent to the Office of Research and Development.

六、 博士後研究人員每次聘期最長為一年。申請續聘時,應繳交成果報告、工作評估表,任職滿一年以上者應另繳交發表之論文。本中心教評會對中心博士後研究人員進行考核時,應綜合被考核人在被考核期間之研究與服務表現予以評分,且研究與服務各佔考核總成績之80%與20%,總成績達80分以上者始得予以續聘。

6.  Postdoctoral researchers are hired for a maximum period of one year. To apply for renewal, the results report and work evaluation form shall be submitted. If the researcher has been hired for more than one year, the thesis published shall also be submitted. In conducting the evaluation of postdoctoral researchers of the Center, the CHASS Teachers Review Committee shall give consolidated scores to the research and service performance of the evaluated person during the evaluation period. Research and service shall represent respectively 80% and 20% of the total evaluation scores. Renewal shall require total scores of 80 or higher.

七、 研究考核參考項目:

列出足以展現研究成果的紀錄,如研究計畫、期刊論文、專書、研究報告及研討會論文等等。

7.  Reference items for research evaluation:

List records sufficient to prove research results, such as journal papers, specialized literature, research report and thesis published in academic seminars

八、 服務考核參考項目以計畫執行及校內外之各項學術服務為主。

8.  The main reference items for service in the evaluation are project execution and various academic services inside and outside the University.

九、    本中心教評會委員在審議案件時,如本人或其配偶、前配偶、四等親內之血親或三等親內之姻親為當事人或有利害關係時應自行迴避。未自行迴避者,得經教評會決議請該委員迴避。

本中心教評會委員就審議案件如認為有前項以外之特殊事由應迴避時,得向教評員會

9.  Any member of the CHASS Teachers Review Committee who has an interest, or whose spouse, former spouse, blood relative within 4 degrees of kinship or relative by marriage within 3 degrees of kinships has an interest in a case under review shall recuse himself/herself. If the member fails to recuse himself/herself, the CHASS Teachers Review Committee may pass a resolution to demand the recusal by such member.

十、 本要點如有未盡事宜,悉依本校其他相關法令或規定辦理。

10.  Any matter that is not fully stipulated in these Guidelines shall be governed by other applicable laws or regulations of the University.

十一、 本要點經本中心審議委員會會議通過後實施,修正時亦同。

11.  These Guidelines, including any amendment thereto, are implemented following approval by the Review Committee of the Center.
